We celebrated Neighbourhood House week this year with a community barbecue and invited our local Doveton-Eumemmering community. Neighbourhood House Week is an annual national celebration, supported by Neighbourhood Houses Victoria, that recognises the important contribution that over 1,000 Neighbourhood Houses make in local communities all across Australia.

It was an opportunity for our community to come together, enjoy a halal sausage sizzle, cake and a cuppa, and get to know each other and find out what’s on offer at Doveton Neighbourhood Learning Centre. We had a great turnout with over 60 people. It was lovely to see many familiar faces, as well as meet a few new people.
